Worthy Is The Lamb
From where i come from, the Church Of The Immaculate Heart Of Mary (which is undeniably the best parish in Singapore!) -wink-, the youth have been involved in such a multitude and perhaps overload of ministries, service, and outreach opportunities in the past few months that we haven't had a dedicated time to retreat as a Youth Ministry and seek God together in quiet time.
And tonight, the Lenten Reflection provided the perfect setting for that!
At 8pm in the IHM Upper Room, we were invited by Colin to completely turn off our mobile phones as we prepared ourselves to be 'Mel Gibson for the night' as each of us meditated on the Passion of our Lord through the Five Sorrowful Mysteries.

Meditating on the cross

Thank you for the cross Lord.
Thank you for the nail-scarred hand.
Dear Lord, in this period of Lent, just as how you endured Your crucifixion with grace, dignity and humility in submission to the will of Your Father, may i also always learn to decrease, and You, increase.

I'm starting to wonder, does it take one devoted catholic to feel God's presence.
It's not that I'm not trying, it just doesn't work for me. I have friends who yearn for answer and went to bible college. Me? I just give up.
I always think that religion is just psychological thing. It's all in the mind. Show it to me, show me facts, show me something tangible and I'll believe.
Hey ros.
Yearning for God's presence is always a good thing... it in itself is a gift. God is tangible... if only we look hard enough... in nature, in the people around... more importantly, in us.
And sometimes it's when we truly yearn to experience God will He lead us to Himself. However it will also depend on whether we choose to see, on whether we place ourselves in postitions, whether we're in the right disposition (readiness) to see.
Perservere in your desire. Will be praying for you.

Yes Ros!
Along with Clement and many others, I will be praying for you too - that you will see God in your daily living.
Be patient, for conversion is a process.
Love,
Rhino 69.
