you...dust...you..
Hi all you lovely people of God!(whether or not u realise it..ha!)
Today, instead of sharing about what i know/experience of God in my life, as i have been in my previous posts, (revelations through reflections/ministry, etc.) I shall share instead of what little i know of God and His great plans for all of us..
In the past week, i have been taking time to pray and reflect more.. focus on being than doing..focus on Him than me, focus on the notion of 'less is more', especially in my spiritual life.
And i realised that I'm a mere speck of dust in God's creation..so small, so insignificant, and really, as transient as life is made out to be, it doesn't really matter to anyone if i cease to exist..(yes, people may mourn any others passing for a while, but this too will come to pass)
The only reason why i'm still alive, typing this reflection, the reason why u are reading this at this very moment, the reason why we woke up this morning to the realisation of the first breath of Wednesday(though we take for granted), the reason why God allows us to fulfil our dreams, our aspirations, our tomorrows, is because WE MATTER TO GOD.
Now, isn't that amazing? That we, being such insignificant, and quite often irritating, difficult beings, are sooooo loved by God?
that to God, it's okay we :
- overslept this morning
- we feel too tired to go for mass this evening
- we did a whole lot of activities than responding to the morning greeting of our Lord in the morning sun, the breeze, the trees and flowers?
- we are so proud to finally comprehend the teeny bit of God's plan He reveals to us?
- claim to have experienced His faithfulness through testimonies, own experiences and yet doubt Him again whenever the storm arises (like the apostles in the boat)
YET! He is one God who loves me whoever i am, He created me just as I am with all my gifts and talents/imperfections and all, and meant it to be so! And like a master artist, He is delighted with His creation of me, of us, each piece totally unique, totally loveable.
Oh my, isn't it exciting? Okie, i spoke too much about things i 'think' i know.. Shall go listen more to what He has to say before sharing them with you..

Imperfect.
Sinful.
Not loving You as I desire,not loving others as I should.
Take me as I am.You do love me as I am!
You are so good to me!
Help me to love myself, too.
Take what is good, the gifts You have given to me,and use it for Your kingdom.
Take what is imperfectand transform it into a blessing.T
ake what is sinfuland teach me to grow in holiness.
Lord, here I am today.Help me to do Your will.
