This is the day the Lord has made!

Hi everyone! Been wanting to post this up for sometime..This is the first sight i see when i peel open my eyes every morning... How beautiful right!! Lovely blue skies..lil wispy clouds...and these last only for that special moment..perhaps half an hour later..(9+), more clouds would start to fill the sky, and the world wakes up(together w me, psychologically i think) and the heat of the morning starts to come in..which is wonderful as well..

So amazing, how the Lord gives us a new day, without fail. No matter how bad yesterday has been, no matter how many times we've failed yesterday, no matter how we didn't manage to finish the pile of work/chapters of work/ace the test we were sitting for, or come out of a relationship turned bad, or the passing of a loved one..He gives us a brand new day to start anew, to pick ourselves up, to try again... And the grace that is sufficient to sustain us through whatever situation we're going through..

Thank You Lord! For Your gift of life, Your gift of sight, of nature..for letting us try again and again...As certain as the sun will rise, so will You always be there for us, providing for our every need.

Yes, you are right. We can always start afresh. The secular tenet "Opportunity only knocks once" is rubbish. With God, even if we fail, as long as our hearts are right, we can always try and try again. After all, who gets it right the first time, all the time?

The spiritual life is nothing more than perseverance and faith in "willing the one thing necessary" -God's will. To live His will every moment of our lives -that is the authentic life in Christ, to be in the world yet not part of it.

Go with God, xl.
