"Day after day they met as a group in the Temple, and they had their meals together in their homes, eating with glad and humble hearts, praising God, and enjoying the good will of all the people. And every day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved." -
Acts 2:46-47.
Today we had a day out.
Rhinos a la Domesti'que
Stroking its thighs with their fingers...
( with some Huatiao jiu and thyme 'ERRBS)
With all the "Rhino" prep being done, marketing; massaging of chicken thighs and all, God decided that He should let it rain. (No, thunderstorm!!) Upon reflection, we realised God was trying to test water, literally.
But, there was no stopping us going for the bread of life! There was a brilliant dance of lightning and thunder as we sought shelter from the storm in the solace of the best church in Singapore (though some may choose to live in denial..ha!)
And...after Mass (you-know-wat?!), the heavens opened and there was a most breath-taking sunset engulfing the Serangoon estate!
"Jesus got up and gave an order to the wind and to the stormy water; they quieted down, and there was a great calm. Then he said to the disciples, "Where is your faith?"-Luke 8:24,25.
My my..what more to say..
(this inspires me to sing a song!)
You're my sunshine after the rain..You're the cure..*daniel, shut up! ..orh..okok..
"It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD."
-Lev1:9
(and pleasing to dan's dad too..heh..)

High on spirit... (no lar just posing a
tak-glam shot)

Don't 'cha wish your friend was hot like this..Dont'cha!
So that was how we spent a wonderful day, busking in the Lord's presence as well as the fellowship and companionship of our community, being nourished by the wonderful food.
We did our QT (quiet time) together in a group, which was a refreshing and welcome change to daily prayer life.
"And God saw that it was good..." Gen 1
"Lord, thank you for this day, this gift of friends, family, and our senses to see Y0ur wonderful creations and taste the yummy BBQ. We pray that you may continue to bless us, our families and friends, esp those still taking their examinations."
And all God's people say: "Amen!"
Love and prayers,
Rhino No. 1, 5, 7 and 69!

arrrghhhh.....guys....the massaging chicken thighs part was....so wrong!
I love the pictures of the sunset. Like Louie Armstrong sang, "What a Wonderful World" we have which the Lord has blessed us with, whether we take the time to appreciate it everyday or not.
Let's pray we get an equally beautiful "rainless" sunset when you guys are leading worship on the beach tomorrow despite the forecast of 90% likelihood of rain. Please storm heaven with your prayers...NO RAIN WHERE WE ARE FELLOWSHIPING!
In His Love,
jules
