It's All about You Jesus

Thanks No 5 for your testimony. For those of you who are thinking this is
Part 2, I'm sorry!(haha).

Though I share some sentiments from Clem. I have learnt quite a bit from relationships and being of service to God at the same time. In Dan's words, "It's ONE TIMES super shagged" thing. I say it's difficult because, here, we take relationships and God as 2 seperate things. When that happens, you will definately lose focus. Be it maintaining the relationship or serving in church. My point here is not that you should give up on one to excel in the other.

I have personally seen dating and married couples doing well in their relationships and serving actively in church. For some married couples, I have even seen their children actively involved in church activities. Looking at these parents and couples make me go... WOW!

They placed God in the center of their lives. God lives in them and their family. When we place God in every action that we do, we can just sit back and let Him take over. But, that does not mean, you will not have problems or small fights ah!! HAHA! All the problems and small fights are important. They will help you to grow together and stronger. You can ask your parents to confirm this!

Ok, back to my point. Making God-centered decisions. When I mentioned, "we can just sit back and let Him take over". This comes with trust also. Trust in our God that whatever happens is for the better of us. Our God is a good planner. He plans ahead.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And lean not on your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge Him
And He shall direct
And He shall direct your path
(Don Moen- Trust in the Lord)
When I made my choice and placed God in the center of all my decisions. He just took control of everything. I have complete trust in Him till now. And it's not going to change. One of the reasons how He is able to take control is my prayer to Him. My small talk with Him. This also comes with surrendering and being open. I believe my brothers also share this.
We placed our lives for Him alone. And trust that He will "settle" everything else. This includes relationships! haha. If God selects and approves the "right one", we trust in Him that this person will also be God-centered. We also trust in Him if He calls us to be of service to Him in His church and Kingdom building as priests.
This is my prayer to You, Lord.
Jesus You are the Lover of My Soul
It's all about You, Jesus
And all this is for You
For Your Glory and Your Fame
It's not about me
As if You should do things my way
You alone are God
And I surrender
to Your ways
