Who do YOU say I am??
Just a little reflection today on the reading today: Mark 8:27-33.
Who do i say Jesus is? Through all the activity, ministry, weekly sessions, times of reflection, worship, fun, joy, fellowship. What do all these mean to me? Through these, does the person of Jesus become more real in my life? Or is what i do merely a routine, going to church cos of friends, family, or even because it is the 'right' thing to do?
Why do we question God's love for us? Why do we pray that He reveals more of His love in our lives?
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that all who believe in Him may not perish but have eternal life"
A cliche verse? What's our reaction when we hear this? Oh! i know that! and we start reciting...Or hmm? what's that verse? never hear before..
nonetheless, regardless of reaction, On Valentine's Day @ mass as i was praying for Him to show me His love and a lady read out that verse. I was dumbfounded, and began to tear..
"What more? How else can I show you I love you?! The price of YOUR sin is death, you were meant to die! But because i love you, i sent my son to die! So that you may live! And you can't see i love you?"
Dear Lord, thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Help me to realise the magnitude of Your love for me today, and everyday of my life.

AND, this is sooooooooooo reminds me of the time we were in Sabah. Remember how Fr. Vincent seem to "hear" us and complete our conversations during the sessions?
haha...yes...so funny..
And the time when Fr Lee said,"Monkey see monkey do" and "monkey sleep monkey wake up"...wahaha..
