Things are never quite so smooth sailing

I woke up today feeling a strong sense of dread and weariness. Having done my laundry till abt 3am and talking to Mel Netto and Joe till abt 4am had taken their toll, not forgetting the course on Revelations that evening. I felt guilty for missing my 8am class and for tua-ing Fabian about swimming at 10am.

Nice day hey?

Worse was to come... i walked into my English Language lecture with a heavy heart and an empty brain. And blow after blow after blow came... Firstly, I had hardly any idea what the lecturer was talking about cos the very "disciplined" me has not done any readings for the module. Then I remembered the things I have yet to do for the rally... the promotions at the Sec 3 Catechism classes this Sunday, the ice-breakers and makan for the rehearsals... ARGH!!!!!

Yet, I paused to think: where is God in all of this?

Has He left me to drown?

And He was quick to answer - NO.

I've been the one who's been taking things into my own hands.

I'm tired Lord. So very tired.

Yet will I rejoice in You and exult in my Saving God.
He makes my feet swift as those of hinds
And enables me to go upon the heights.
- Habbakuk 3: 18-19

You give and take away, but let me always say:
Blessed Be Your Name!
