Four-Letter Word
Hello everyone!
It's been quite sometime now. haha! I'm back!! This time I literally mean I'm back! haha. People before me used to say that army was a God-forsaken place. I found that a bit funny. I mean, God is everywhere and we know that. But then.......why are there moments where God is no where? I realised this when I was in there. We can easily see God when things are visible. Eg. when prayers are answered. It's in moments where things are all dissolved in wordly emotions and feelings that we find God missing.
Finding God in those little invisible moments can be very anointing and refreahing. I had such a moment.
I have a commander who loves to use 'flowery' words. I mean...thats the thing about army....you will see your vocabulary increase by a few "punctuation" words...if you know what i mean. And this commander was giving a lecture one day.....and he was explaining about the F-word. About how useful and important the word is. A word that will express all types of feelings. And how different expressions can be used. Everyone in the room found it very amusing. I was like....what the Hell! haha.
Then one day, that same commander asked everyone....."What is the greatest Four-Letter word?" Some recruits responded quickily. But the commander caught everyone's attention by saying that LOVE was the greatest Four-Letter word. I was totally awed at that moment. I din expect that from someone who had very good flowery vocab.
That was a super God moment for me. When the word LOVE was mentioned....so many moments and things flashed past me. All the moments where LOVE was present in my life. My family, friends and most importantly God. God=Love.
And I thank God for being present in that moment and speaking through someone who doesn't even know God. God still amazes me with such moments. His praises never ends. Cos they are new every morning!
