What on earth are God's Rhinos??!!

On second thoughts, Rhinos can look quite gentle and meek, grazing in the grass yea? Sorry bros, couldn't find a pic with 4 Rhinos.. So take it as if i'm taking the pic for u all..wahaha!
Okie, this post is for all you people out there who are wondering why do these 4 mad people call themselves Rhinos?!

Well, here goes...
It goes back to the time when Matt Lee was telling us his fantastic analogy of servants..(kudos to matt!)
"There are 2 kinds of servants, donkeys and horses.
Donkeys are the kind where God says "Move!" and they go "Hee haw...Huh? Me ah?"...and refuse to budge, or take lots of coaxing to budge, being overly cautious and wary. (Ha, this reminds me of days in school when the teacher would point out to a student.."Eh you!" and everyone in that direction turns around thinking the teacher called someone else)
Horses, on the other hand, on command, just gallop ahead, in full stride..then God stops them...saying "Hey! I haven't told you where yet!"
Then, wonderful Angel commented that we were like Rhinos. (just use a lil imagination) Starting w Clem and myself(dan), and then mervin, and with last week's activation and turnouts.. our 'mando' brother wilfred!
When people read today's gospel reading, most would think about the part when Jesus told the disciples "Come, follow me and i will make you fishers of men." What really struck me though, was that they immediately dropped their belongings and left!
That would not be 'rhino-ish' of them...but more like a bullet train or something!
Can we as God's disciples be willing to be as open, as willing, as obedient, as blur(def, yes), as inadequate, as unprepared, as unworthy..like the apostles were, but to just take that step in faith when God prompts us in our lives, our ministries.. to move..
God definitely still moves stones, but now, with the Holy Spirit promptings, we are His hands and feet on this earth to make the effort to bend over and pick up the pebble!
It's amazing how God calls/draws people to Himself and His service..calling the four of us, probably the equivalent of 'fishermen' in the olden days..inadequate, unworthy, from all walks of life, to a common focus and goal of serving and loving Him(all because He first loved us..)
"Let any man who boasts, boast in the Lord!"
